Backcountry skiers rely heavily on a combination of data to help them avoid potential avalanches. Terrain, snow pack, and weather all factor into the decision making process. This app allows skiers to record and share an observed avalanche and the conditions surrounding that event. By crowdsourcing, skiers are better-informed and more able to make safe backcountry decisions.
Missed Connections in a cross between Craigslist's Missed Connections and a dating App like Tinder or Bumble. The idea is to give people a forum to connect to people they may have seen in passing, but for whatever reason, missed. The user logs in through facebook and is greeted by a clean interface, not a bunch of pictures and personal information. The hope is that a "dating" app based on a real life connection will have better success than one based solely on profiles.
List of Lists is a web application that allows users to curate and share lists via a clean and easily navigable interface. Instead of sorting through bar napkins, old notebooks, and random sticky notes a user can put all of these things in one place to reference later or share with friends. A user can find friends by sorting through usernames and follow by clicking the “follow” button.
Everybody needs to remember something. I personally don't need to remember Jesus or Donald Trump but I hear irony is hip right now. This game was created for fun. For the joy of silly colorful images and to play with manipulating the Dom.
